JNS is a professional engineering firm headquartered in Houston, Texas, with branch offices in Austin, Conroe and Pasadena, Texas. We provide a range of services, including civil engineering of commercial, residential and transportation projects, land planning, waterway development, site work, construction administration, surveying and more.

JNS was founded in 1986 by principal engineer, Jon N. Strange, who still leads the company today. Jon started the company with only one engineer (himself), two projects, and loads of determination.

Growth has been steady and sure for the duration. After making a name in Houston, JNS has systematically expanded into some of the area's fastest-growing markets to meet the demands of increased urbanization.

We now count some 40 experienced professionals among our ranks, and they are busy with more than $100 million in projects. Needless to say, we could use some more good people.
